Climo Discs Prototype Apogee – Distance Driver (New Mold)

Flight Numbers: 12 | 5 | -2 | 1

The Climo Discs Prototype Apogee is a high-speed, understable distance driver designed for maximum distance, exceptional glide, and effortless speed. As a brand-new mold in the Climo Discs lineup, the Apogee takes distance potential to the next level, offering a faster, more understable alternative to the Skyway. Whether you're chasing a new personal distance record or looking to cover more fairway with less effort, the Apogee is built to deliver.

With a speed of 12 and glide of 5, the Apogee generates impressive carry and long-distance potential. Its -2 turn allows for extended high-speed movement, making it excellent for hyzer flips, sweeping turnovers, and maximum-distance drives. The gentle 1 fade provides a smooth finish without sacrificing forward momentum. Its workable flight makes it appealing to developing arms seeking easier distance and experienced throwers looking for long, shaping lines.

The Prototype Apogee features a special Victory Line blend with a distinctive color-shifting effect, previously seen in select Climo limited-edition releases. This premium plastic offers a durable feel with dependable grip and a deep, space-inspired appearance that changes with lighting and viewing angle. Each disc features unique visual variations, giving every Prototype Apogee its own character.

The name Apogee was personally chosen by Ken Climo as a tribute to his father, who worked as an avionics engineer at Honeywell. In orbital terminology, apogee refers to the point in an object's orbit farthest from Earth, a fitting name for a disc designed to push distance to new heights.
