Flexline Discs Story

Flexline Discs began as a dream between two friends who spent years talking about how incredible it would be to open a shop and share our love for disc golf with the community. We’re just two guys who are passionate about the game, the flight of a well-thrown disc, and the camaraderie that comes with getting outdoors with good friends. We also appreciate the rich history of the sport and the evolution of disc golf plastic over time.

One day, James and I realized it was time to turn that dream into reality. In December 2022, we took the first steps toward building our business, navigating the challenges of setting up a shop from the ground up. Initially, we planned to run it part-time while keeping our 9-to-5 jobs, but we quickly learned that some of the key brands we wanted to carry required a brick-and-mortar location. We weren’t willing to compromise on the brands we knew our customers would want, so we pushed forward in search of the right storefront.

As fate would have it, the perfect opportunity landed in our laps. Once we secured a location, the real work began—months of cleaning, painting, and installing racks, all while building a website and stocking up on products. It was no small task, but we powered through, and on September 9, 2023, Flexline Discs officially opened its doors!

What started as a conversation between two friends turned into a reality through hard work, persistence, and an unwavering love for the sport. We’re here to stay, and our mission is simple: to help as many people as possible find the perfect disc for their game. The journey has just begun, and we’re excited for what’s ahead!
